I found the culprit. It's Panasonic's FPWIN PRO 6.3. Now, I wonder if there's a way to fix all the damage it did to Windows Firewall, or if I'm stuck reformatting.

One thing I should note: Remote Desktop worked for awhile after a fresh install of Windows 7. Then, after installing some software, it stopped working. I'm installing a virtual windows 7 and gonna install the same software to find out exactly what's causing it to stop working.

I updated the question with something I noticed happens sometimes right before I lose connection. I'm almost positive it's either a bad driver (unlikely due to the lack of complaints about the card) or simply faulty hardware.
