comment Restrict Access to the Microsoft Store
Enabling it sets the RemoveWindowsStore to 1 and Disabling it sets it to 0. So, Enabling it should restrict access to the Microsoft Store. However, it is not doing anything.

Yes, of course I have, several times. I guess I should have stated that instead. I fixed my question. After a reboot the computer still has access to the Windows Store.

comment Auto Archive Email for IMAP linked account
The built in auto archive does not work when trying to archive from an IMAP linked account to a local pst file. It will not move the emails. I have already tried it.

If it is a legal copy of Windows 8 then call Microsoft and have them help you through it.

You could also use Todo Backup Free.

no I was thinking more along the lines of Acronis True Image 2014. It will allow you to backup the drive as an image file. Then restore to the SSD using the same image file.

You could reinstall on the SSD. Or you could use a program like Acronis.

It sounds like you have some sort of browser hijacker on your machine, or some other malware, which is redirecting you through the searchpage.com website

Slave that hard drive to a new machine that isn't running Windows XP. Then copy over your information.

IMO, it is time to upgrade. I would recommend not using Windows XP anymore. Especially if it is connected to the Internet.

comment Does this motherboard support two graphics cards?
Oh yeah definitely. Just make sure you purchase the correct PSU (right form factor, same motherboard connections, and correct/enough power connections).

How about a remote desktop connection? If you don't want wires then connect wirelessly.

comment Ethernet/8P8C crimp contacts bent
What kind of crimping tool are you using? I have never had a problem with the contacts bending to the side. Most RJ45 crimping tools push the contacts in evenly. Your picture is anything but.

Does the wireless work? If so why would you even need to install a newer driver? If it isn't broken don't fix it.

comment Clone Windows 3.11 Hard Drive
@ChrisInEdmonton, I don't think it is the hard drive that is causing the BSOD. But, in case the HD is experiencing issues, I want have a good working backup drive. Down time is critical with production machines.

Wouldn't installing a fresh copy of 3.11 take care of the unique ID?

comment Clone Windows 3.11 Hard Drive
No, that wouldn't be possible for this situation. The machine uses a lot of old custom expansion cards in order to communicate with the machine. Also, the motherboard is custom as well. I wouldn't be able to plug a newer PC into it.
