My job spans a lot of areas including web development, desktop software development, system administration, and network administration.
Code-wise, I mainly work with PHP, MySQL, jQuery, C#, and NSIS currently.
However, I have experience with C, C++, Java, Visual Basic, ASP, and MSSQL.

Create an image file of a running Linux system No offense intended. I did read the whole question. The title plus the question together indicate that the OP wanted to create the image while the system was running. Hence also his reference to clonesys. |

Create an image file of a running Linux system OP said he wanted to create an image of a running system. A live CD means the system being cloned won't be running. |

Mount SkyDrive as a network drive This is absolutely the way to go. No third-party software running all the time, and it just works. This should be the accepted answer. |

How important is dual-gigabit lan for a super user's home NAS? This is exactly the kind of advice I was looking for. I hadn't started my research on File Systems yet, but now it sounds like I want XFS :-). Even with XFS, though, it sounds like it might not be worth worrying about dual NICs. Would you agree? |
