Extensions to import ICS events to Google calendar Also, I rarely want a "new calendar". Most sites that generate ICS files are producing a single event. I just want to add that event to my normal calendar, not create yet another calendar. |

Extensions to import ICS events to Google calendar I can't speak for the OP, but I'd say: convenience. I don't want to save an ICS file, find the place in Google Calendar to import it, re-upload the file, and finally have to remember to delete the downloaded file. I want one click operation: when an ICS file is sent to my browser I want it sent to Google Calendar with the option to discard or save the new calendar entries. |

Downloading Old RSS Contents Regarding "results are not sorted according to the publish date": the date Reader uses for sorting is the initial crawl time (with a very tiny fudge if multiple items end up with the same initial crawl time). This was done for several reasons, one being that many feeds do not contain reliable time stamps. Incidentally, Reader did not exist 10 years ago, so its archives don't go back that far. |

X11.app (on SnowLeopard) won't start I've finally managed to fix this. It turns out that my .bashrc was doing something screwy. I still don't know why this would cause X11 to break in the way it did. |

X11.app (on SnowLeopard) won't start @ephemient I have now tried XQuartz, and also MacPorts' xorg-server, and none of these configurations work. Please see the update to the question. |
