comment How to make all the files in a folder non-executable in Windows 7?
Thanks! It kind of blended in with the other Footer information (e.g. edited Oct 24) so I skimmed right over it.

comment How to make all the files in a folder non-executable in Windows 7?
Is this original or is there a link to the source of this? I would like to default files to non-executable unless elevated by an administrator.

comment Best format for backing up data in Blu Ray
Tyler is right, optical media is notorious for degrading over time (especially if the integrity of the coating is compromised via scratch or similar that will allow oxidation to occur in the aluminum). If you are looking for long-term viability tape is the way to go. If you only are planning on having these as a failsafe, why not just dump the data onto external hard drives? The cost per GB will be much cheaper, and it will take significantly less time to create the backups.

comment Converting .GHO to .vmdk
Wow, that is correct. In my haste I must have glanced at the wrong command when typing it in and then didn't notice it on subsequent read-throughs >_<. It appears to be working correctly now. Thanks.
