comment Windows 10 Free Upgrade - What happens to Windows 7/8?
Information is now published for those who didn't believe. You have 30d to downgrade after that you cannot.

comment Scale this image for printing A3 or bigger without source codes
Not sure I understand your question. If you are printing, the question is irrelevant since that will be the endpoint of your processing. If you are wanting the image scanned back in again, you need to update your original question as you haven't shared all the facts needed for a solution. The original q. implies you want a usable A3 print from limited pixels, my a. should help you work out if you can successfully do that in your situation - there is no hard and fast answer because it very much depends on the original and on the use the print is put too, how viewed, etc.

comment Windows 10 64-bit requirements: Does my CPU support CMPXCHG16b, PrefetchW and LAHF/SAHF?
I'm aware that 4GB cannot be fully utilised. Although I take the point make about a large graphics card, using 64bit apps has a real and significant overhead. Previous studies have shown that it really doesn't add any value until you go over 4GB. 3GB is a poor setup anyway and rarely seen due to having imbalanced memory channels.

comment Will it be possible to revert to Windows 8 after installing Windows 10 (not preview)?
For those naysayers and downvoters. MS have now clarified. Your previous license is subsumed into a W10 license and cannot be recovered. However, you will get limited and temporary downgrade rights but you MUST create a suitable recovery disk before upgrading.

comment Speeding up Vlookups
"Other" methods would be to use the data model to act on the 2 tables as proper relational data. You then create a 3rd table from the model. You can do that pretty easily using Microsoft's free PowerQuery adding too if you are allowed addins.

comment Speeding up Vlookups
If the lists are linked in such a way that you know you don't need to lookup everything each time, change the VLOOKUP formula to use an OFFSET instead of the full table.

comment How to crop images in batch and then re-crop the same way
You seem to want to mix interactive and batch actions so I'm not sure what you want. If you want to crop visually then use display from imagemagick/graphicsmagick but I think you would have to go through every image individually that way. Or do one and make a note of the required parameters and do the rest in batch.

comment Setup a Windows 7 PC as a minimum thin client?
You need to configure the PC in "Kiosk" mode. There are lots of instructions for this on the Internet including ones from Microsoft. Please Google first, ask questions later.

You need to make sure they go in the right section of certmgr otherwise they don't have the effect you want them to.

comment Word 2013 (Windows 7) - Set default list indentation
Is this a fresh document or does it contain lists pasted from elsewhere? The later can play havoc with list styles. Otherwise, agree with David that you need to either set up a suitable Style or create a new template with the default list settings the way you want them.

Nope, as per the answer below, that is a different way of interacting.

comment Create shared to do list folder in MS office 2013 and assign to team members
I'm afraid that Outlook on it's own is not really going to help here. If you are using Office, you should have access to OneNote and that is much better for what you want. Simply create a notebook on a shared drive, SharePoint, Dropbox or whatever where everyone can get to it. Everyone can edit notes and their initials will appear beside the paragraphs they edit. You can do simple todo lists and even sync the lists to outlook tasks. If you want more, you need to be using a full collaboration platform such as SharePoint, you might try Office 365 for that.

comment How to find what is pegging CPU in linux kernel
I agree with Frank. You might share some more of the list since 168 running tasks with a single task taking over 56% could easily add up to 100%.

comment After pasting data, how do you navigate cell contents with keyboard arrow keys in MS Excel?
Unfortunately, that is expected behaviour. To be fair, that is probably the most common use case. It could be just as frustrating to other people to have the opposite effect.

Then something is messed up internally and I think you will have to resort to creating a new workbook as outlined in my previous comment.
