comment Gigabyte GA-J1800N-D2H: mini-pcie ssd?
What about the ASRock Q1900-ITX mini-box.com/ASRock-Q1900-ITX? It has a similar integrated CPU but 4 SATA ports.

See here for a comparison list mini-itx.com/store/?c=2. Top one has Fusion CPU + 6 SATA ports. Watch out for thin ITX unless you can get a suitable PSU.

Have you tried looking for a motherboard with an mSATA slot?

I believe most Mini PCIe SSD's won't work as they are not standard. You would need a special one designed to work with ports with reduced capabilities.

Perhaps your network uses a proxy and Windows is getting the description from there? WPAD is an automatic proxy detection protocol.

Try using BluScreenView (nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html) to check for details and post your results here.

I believe it could be related to DNS suffix settings on your IPv4 or IPv6 settings. Right click Local Area Connection and choose Properties. Click on Internet Protocol v4 (TCP/IPv4). Click the Advanced button. Click the DNS tab and check for a DNS suffix for this connection. Also check the IPv6 settings in the same way. I wouldn't change them unless you need to though.

I think it could be the name of the domain or workgroup your computer is a member of? Right click My Computer and choose Properties then look under the Computer name, domain and workgroup settings section.

comment How come my 7200 rpm external HD is slower than my 5400 rpm portable HD?
@randwa1k: See this question on Ask Different: apple.stackexchange.com/questions/56872/…. ExFAT is specifically designed for flash memory not mechanical hard drives so you should try using another file system like HFS+ (or FAT32 if cross platform compatibility is needed) to see if you get better results.
