comment Can't upload to FTP server through SOCKS proxy
Thank you for the suggestion Mxx!! I can't believe I didn't think of simply using a different ftp client. Turns out it was simply something freeky going on with FileZilla and once I started using SmartFTP instead, it worked perfectly. I really appreciate it! :)

I don't have access to the server for now. I will when I get back to work, but then this workaround won't be needed anymore. I was thinking something similar that I may not have write permissions. however, there is only a single ftp user account on the server, and it has had write permissions when I try to upload from a work machine. Thats a good suggestion, I'll find another ftp client and give it a try to rule out FileZilla as the problem.

A new question was created addressing the new specific issues. I removed this information as it is now redundant.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm probably on to another problem entirely and will work on creating a new question addressing this specific problem. Thank you so much for your help EightBitTony!

comment Hardware Reserved After plugging DDR2 into DDR3
Renan is correct. please see this image for an example: build-gaming-computer-guide.com/image-files/… If you put DDR2 RAM into a DDR3 slot, you would have simply BROKEN the RAM or the motherboard RAM slot. You must be mistaken in the situation.
