thanks for help. I have made HTTP proxy empty and set its port to 0, while SOCKS host is localhost and port 8888. Now it works.

I don't feel like changing the source. It works fine on Linux machine, so it should work on Macs as well. It must be a system setting.

No result in both cases. The first printed job 2 at Wed Sep 29 22:49:40 2010, the second printed at: garbled time. This happens in OS X 10.6.4.
