Do you love Sublime Text? Looking for a color scheme that looks good in lots of languages and takes advantage of as many scopes as possible? Check out Neon Color Scheme, available through Package Control and hosted on GitHub. Also works great in TextMate and TextMate 2 - instructions in the README.

Looking for a great Linux hosting provider geared toward developers with shell access, a bunch of ready-to-deploy apps, and awesome tech support? Check out WebFaction, my favorite alternative to the big hosting beasts. They run CentOS 6 x64, have datacenters around the world, and have a full suite of regularly-updated development and deployment tools. And did I mention they're cheap? My basic plan with 512MB RAM, 100GB disk, and 600 GB bandwidth/month is just US$8.50/mo! (if you prepay for a full year - US$102). Check out all these other features:

  • Full control over shell access (multi-user capability), email, and DNS.
  • Extensive, searchable, useful documentation.
  • Python, Ruby/Rails, PHP, Java, Perl, shell scripts...
  • Ability to install whatever software tools you need, and execute long-running processes.
  • nginx and Apache, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MongoDB...
  • "One-click" (actually, several clicks and some typing) installers for a whole bunch (and different versions) of popular applications like Django, Rails, WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Git, Redmine, and more.
  • and a ton of other stuff. Just follow the link!

I honestly don't know of any other hosting provider that has a similar product, and if one exists I can't imagine it's as cheap. BTW, I don't work for them, I'm just a very satisfied customer.

Why Pigimal?

I sometimes call my guinea pig (also known as a cavy) "Pigimal", which is short for "Piggy Animal." Now you know.

Have you tried escaping the inner quotes? grep \":80 \" &> /dev/null

comment Auto rotate scanned text image (OCR via command line?)
@nixda There is also an -auto-orient option that may be of use - I haven't used it, so I don't know how accurate it is. Sorry, I didn't pick up from your original question that they weren't all in the same orientation.

comment sublime text 3 emmet tab Multiplication not work
Likely it's one of your snippets that's affecting this. Try removing all of your snippets, especially the ones related to HTML, and see if Emmet works properly after that. Then, add them back one at a time and see what the conflict is.

It's working fine for me, using a fresh installation of Emmet. What other plugins do you have installed? Have you changed any of Emmet's settings?

you must have some sort of plugin installed, this is not a built-in feature of Sublime.

Can you give an example of what exactly you're trying to do? As it stands now, your question is very unclear.

where did you get the "Debian package"? Have you also tried installing Sublime from some other source previously? How did you install Sublime Text 2?

comment Transpose words in Sublime Text 3
As a temporary workaround, if you select the two words by multi-selecting them, Ctrl-T will transpose them in ST3.

comment Transpose words in Sublime Text 3
@TrevorBurnham - I'm trying to figure out how to reinstate the ST2 behavior in ST3, but I'm running into snags. Basically, there were changes to Packages/Default/transpose.py between 2 and 3, but even when I revert the script back to the ST2 version it's still not working (at least on XP). I'm guessing there must have been some change in the ST3 API that's causing problems, but I'm having trouble tracking it down. It might be easier in the long run to just write a separate plugin that only transposes words.
