comment How can I reset network (Airport) connections from the command line?
I use my Macbook's en1 for Wifi sniffing using wireshark. Somehow I could not use the airport --channel= command to set a 5 GHz channel like 36 or 40, but all the 2.4 GHz channels worked. I had to earlier reboot my Macbook to fix this issue, but the networksetup commands seem to do the job much quicker :) BTW ifconfig down and up did not work in fixing this issue at least for me. Thanks!

comment How does Bazaar decide which Python to use?
@abarnert - Yes I guess you're right about update-alternatives not being present on OSX, didn't seem to notice that the OP was talking about OSX (which I hardly know much about).

There is also update-alternatives which is used to maintain multiple versions of same package, which it not exactly a binary wrapper but just uses symlinks to choose the right version of a binary.

comment Display all files (incliding sub-dir) that are larger than 10K bytes
Although the ls command has options to traverse sub-directories recursively, it does not have options to filter the list based on file sizes, not that it is not doable (say by piping it to xargs, head, etc.), but not just really worth the effort IMO :)

comment Where's the defaul tmux configuration file?
Most Linux distributions do not ship with any tmux config files, not even empty ones. But if you do create one tmux should parse through these config files. Do you find any particular option not being retained when you restart tmux ?

comment Linux Shell script to copy files from one location to another location
Just add a note that this script would not copy any files present in sub-directories of srcdir to ensure it is what OP expects.
