comment There is no script engine for file extension “.vbs”
@Ramhound Aha. superuser.com/a/223757/13889 shows that Notepad++ is claiming the file extension so it doesn't really have anything to do with Google Drive?

comment How do you check how much power a USB port can deliver?
@TomWijsman Yeah, I'm one of the people who downvoted that answer. Jeff's opinions are often bizarre.

comment How do you check how much power a USB port can deliver?
@TomWijsman Read the other answers and the conversation about them. Your original answer was incorrect (hwinfo) but got upvotes anyway which was confusing people. Linux lsusb and Windows Device Manager couldn't be more distinct.

comment How do you check how much power a USB port can deliver?
@TomWijsman You have one answer about Windows and one answer about Linux, combined into one. Your Linux answer was incorrect but got upvoted by Windows users because of the Windows part. That's why separate answers should be posted separately, so they can be upvoted or downvoted independently.

@TomWijsman That's why you should post multiple answers as multiple answers: meta.stackexchange.com/a/25210/130885

@LPChip Yeah I saw that but it just means that Windows Search won't find it by content, only by file name? sevenforums.com/general-discussion/222954-file-attributes.html

comment how to tell whats eating my harddrive space?
Seeing which folder is the biggest doesn't really help, though. I cleared 11 GB a few days ago and now I have 3 free. I need to know which folders are getting hugely bigger over time, not just which ones are hugely big.

so I guess in the past I was running it as my user and now it's running as deluge user, so I should migrate the config files to that account? or should I modify the instructions to run as my user instead?

comment Show USB speed for all devices in Windows 7
Speed and USB version are not the same thing. USB 3.0 supports 4 different speeds, for instance: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB#Transmission_rates tr1.cbsistatic.com/hub/i/2009/12/22/…

comment Using USB 3.0 to speed up transfer between USB 2.0 devices?
Wikipedia says no, the USB 2.0 signals are not translated to USB 3.0, they are just passed along, so there is still the 480 Mbit/s bandwidth limit: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_hub#Transaction_translator
