comment How do I limit access to only a single domain on my child's account?
I answered below, but I do want to chime in that this seems like an incredibly stupid thing to do. At least let her also use Wikipedia, or CNN, or anything she can actually develop her brain with.

Also try not copying directly from the program. For example (I do not use multisim so apologies if these features do not exist) "save as" the source code in a .txt format, then copy it into word from notepad rather than multisim. Or use notepad as an intermediary to remove formatting (I do this all the time). Basically copy paste it into notepad first, then copy paste from notepad into word. If it copy pastes into notepad funny then let us know because that is helpful information (still thinking line endings though...)

Just real quick for me, try using the paste+text only command. If that doesn't work, see nsr81's answer on line endings, it sounds like that's really your problem.

comment Why do deleted files still show up in Explorer until I refresh the folder?
The problem is I have never observed this behavior for a local file on a clean installation of any version of windows 7+. I have seen it in folders controlled by a program (ie, Dropbox, Sharepoint) and on network drives. Most of these could be fixed with a "f5" refresh. Are you claiming you observe this behavior on a clean installation of windows? Otherwise, we'll have to know what programs you are using, which is just a wild goose chase.

What program are you copying the text from? Which word paste command are you using? Are you using a monospace font?

comment User set .lnk association to Word 2007 Server 2008 R2 Terminal Server
It might be helpful to export only your HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.lnk registry key and paste the contents of the resulting text file (open in notepad to see) in your question.

comment Windows Remote Desktop with auto-resolution changing
I suppose there is a chance a method would be consistent across windows versions, but you might want to include what particular version of windows you use.
