comment Fast User Switching/Apple Menu?
I tried assigning Cmd-L as the shortcut, to make is similar to Windows' Win-L, but that didn't work because some applications, like Web Browsers, use Cmd-L shortcut too. I tried some other combinations, but none of them worked in all the apps I use regularly. So I ended up assigning Cmd-Shift-2, instead.

@tink The gurjeet.privatepaste.com/e75c925ffd Setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH in terminal to be same as Daemon's caused the same error in the terminal too! Thanks for the tip.

Thanks. ssh emits this message too debug1: Offering RSA public key: <$HOME>/.ssh/id_rsa which makes one think that the private key is being shared even though the id_rsa.pub has already been shared.

I understand the public-key crypo process, but was confused by the debug message emitted by ssh. Answer from @pjc50 seems to provide the assurance I was looking for.
