comment Cannot install Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 7 Enterprise (64-bit) — KB2384140 is not applicable
Yes. I have removed everything except the Czech -- it could not be removed. Rebooted several times during the process. The Windows Update failed to install IE 10 the same way.

@Ramhound: I am not sure about the support contract. Probably yes, but I am not "in Prague", you know. // Instead, I am ready to repair Windows. I have already done the backup (via the MS tool) to another physical disk. I will download English Windows 7 Enterprise with SP1 ISO image in Monday...

@Ramhound: You were right. I have just found some papers related to the installation of my computer. The Ultimate was my earlier Windows Vista. The current Enterprise was from MSDN disc 4655 from November 2009, and it is for English, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, and Russian languages. The Czech was probably used as the first language as I cannot uninstall the language. Anyway, any attempt to install IE10 failed again.

If I remember well, the Enterprise did not exist at the time when Windows 7 were new. But definitely, we do not have VLK. But I may be wrong.

@Ramhound: The problem is that Enterprise should be activated via Volume License Key. I am very sure we do not have it. I am sure I did use a normal key that was available or via from MSDN or via Microsoft partner pages.

@Ramhound: Should I switch to English or completely remove the other language packs?

Yes, this has also confused me. The processor is Intel Core 2. I tried but I never found the amd64 version.

Actually, the edition is probably Ultimate, but it is displayed as Enterprise. Definitely, I remember I did install the English first, and then I switched to Czech.

@Serg: I need also the data about things unrelated to SQL server, and I need them sampled frequently in some time.
