This is the only way I could get this to work from my Retina MacBook Pro using Microsoft Remote Desktop 8.0.x to Windows 7/8/Vista/XP sessions. It even works with Alt + PrtSc to take a snapshot of the current window.

I like this over the pure command-line version as it allows you to preview the things that get deleted. You can always call it from the command-line using "%~dp0\EmptyFolderNuker.exe" %cd%.
