comment Any chance I can recover this video file?
You say that it couldn't delete the original file initially. Was that because it was still open in a program at that time? If not that is a strong indicator that there was already corruption at that time. In that case there's not much you can do.

Please edit your answer and use better terminology. You are confusing lines, rows, columns and records. It does not help, of course, that the OP asks an unclear question - maybe wait for him/her to clean it up.

comment Removing duplicates from txt file
Please edit your question and describe your file format better. It is unclear whether these code are all on one line or on multiple lines. Why do you say 'amount of code can vary'? I can interpret that as per line (in that case: give a larger sample) or this files (these files?) is repeatedly generated so I must automate this process. What is it?

comment New CPU, bleeps - Don't have a clue
Beep codes are usually related to the company that wrote the BIOS, so that 's the place to search for them. The BIOS usually displays this info on boot.

There is always a sequence to get in; first one password, then the other (a hierarchy of access). Or are you not saying that you forgot the password? You are also mixing enter the boot menu and enter the setup in your text. Please edit and make sure exactly which steps fail and why.

comment Username or password is incorrect: why not specify which?
Correct. If the attack you want to protect against is random trial and error of both password and username, this makes cracking/guessing double so hard.

comment Is a self signed SSL certificate less secure?
The answers given so far are technically correct, but they miss one point: Do you want to train/learn your visitors that self-signed certificates are acceptable? I suggest you don't do that. Since you also mention in a comment answer that tour visitors are not tech savvy, the best solution is to go the LetsEncrypt way. That works as intended, so there is really no reason to hack around and 'do your own stuff'.

Bad advice. You run a lower level recovery program first, before attempting CHKDSK. I have explained this in my answer here
