comment Calculating least number of light fixtures for a run
I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because it belongs on SuperUser and Programmers

This question is off-topic here. The part of your question about how to implement your algorithm in Excel would be valid on SuperUser. The part of your question about the algorithm itself would be valid on Programmers.

Maannnn, same issue here. After prompting the admin to check DHCP leases he found out we had many 'infinite' leases eating up the space.

comment How to make duplicate bookmarks in Firefox?
@pgr Yes, I have retested and (Ctrl-)dragging does work in general - but I have some 3000+ bookmarks in total and FireFox often cannot keep up with bookmark operations. I often have to wait, or a treelist does not update, or a new folder does not appear until I collapse/reopen a node etc.

comment How to make duplicate bookmarks in Firefox?
I have edited your answer because 2) dragging (or Ctrl-dragging) does not work and 3) does not answer my question.

comment How to disable SSLv3 for POODLE attack
You do know that the 'attack' is hyped? You need an active man in the middle who would also have to have access to the user's browser and at that moment the user is a victim anyway - there is no need for the attacker to waste his time poodling further. Read grc.com/sn/sn-478.txt or listen to Episode 478 of Security Now

comment How to rename large quantities of files with a common pattern to their name
What are your file names exactly? Question of these kind often lead to a lot of speculation because they are not specific enough. We don't want a eg., we want a list of examples that covers all your file names, and that is very clear about where the spaces in the file names are. edit your question and enclose the file names in backticks so that they stand out.

comment How do I bulk change indentation sizes
That's why I asked: for a hundred files (assuming it is a once-only operation) your text editor may be good enough if it has a keyboard macro (or repeat function) and can select all + outdent.

What is 'a large number'?

comment How do I create VBA code to extract certain columns of data from excel file?
You are not making it easy this way. This amount of data requires a database. Is there by any chance a way to use that and save yourself further pain?

Please edit your answer and put the essential information here as well. I started doing that but do not understand what you mean with 'sar menu' in your answer there.

This should've been a comment. It's a valuable remark, but not an answer to the question.

This sound like removing spaces, not line feeds.

The OP wants a file with the current date in the file name, not in the file contents

Note that you only answered what happened to the memory sticks, not what happened to the computer.

You should backup your statement "chances of being intercepted by a third party is far less". Otherwise this answer is just as likely as stating "chances of being intercepted by a third party are high"

Also, as seen from comments below the EURion rings are probably not the cause. You imply they are.
