comment Use Office 365 account to login to Windows 10
@Remy If you think that information can serve others, please add an answer of your own to the question. You can even mark it as the correct answer after 2 days IIRC

comment How does ransomware work?
@Sam This is the default way crypto works with public/private key pairs: use the key pair with large keys for the initializations, then generate a smaller key to use with the actual (much faster) symmetric encryption/decryption algorithms. You should read some primers on public key encryption

comment Prevent other Admins from accessing my computer
If that 'One of our staff' is too stupid to listen to your "Don't do this" there's only one way: bring it to HR. In other words: "If you don't know how to behave, you can go find another job". Don't try to solve this using tools, it's a waste of your time. It's the same as any colleague messing with my dev machine: he would get one warning only, then I would launch a formal complaint with management.

comment Does someone know why I am asking to security check?
every time I copy an answer from a draft text file on my local file system to a question or answer. Of course. You start editing and within 3 seconds you click OK to save that entire text. That's exactly the behaviour the website sees when an automatic scripts tries to dump its spam garbage.

comment Phone number promises fix to my Trojan
Also if anyone calls you 'from Microsoft' offering you to fix your issues, they are fake. End the call, or maybe better: Tell them "One moment, let me end my other call", then put your phone aside until they hang up - that way you have at least wasted some of their time.

There exist 'uninstaller' tools that watch every modification to the registry and disk, so that they can revert these...

comment WIfi Hotspot without any Password?
Following up on Hellreaver's comment: any password will serve as the seed for the encryption keys for the connections to your users. If you say you don't need a password, provide a simple one, maybe even put it in the SSID.

comment File name too long when copying to a directory with shorter file path
What is the specific filename on which the error occurs (full path)? With what did you copy; maybe it chokes on long input names.

comment A really secure file encryption solution
Investigate VeraCrypt. I don't use it but have heard good comments. It's actively maintained.

comment My laptop won't turn on
Ask the service center people which part got replaced. They also should be able to answer your question better than we can - we don't see the laptop.

comment Is being a Tor exit node dangerous?
how can Tor be even considered more safe and not less safe You are confusing the people serving as exit nodes with the people using it for anonymous browsing.

comment How can it be that a ZIP file contains multiple files with the same name in the same subdirectory?
You can repeat the process and tell us the file names. I can't remember which file it was is no excuse to write a question with missing information. Voting to close as 'unclear'.

comment Programmatically read “Turn off hard disk after” value in Windows
This seems to be pretty complicated There is one key for each power profile, and it's a GUID specific to your machine

comment Programmatically read “Turn off hard disk after” value in Windows
You can always install one of these "monitor registry" tools, make your change, and see which key(s) have been updated...

comment Which features should I consider, other than encryption and data security, when choosing to buy a VPN service for longer period?
Your question tries to match privacy and online security against features without defining any of these. In security the first question to ask is always "What do you want to defend against?". Asking us to list and evaluate available features is too broad.

Why would you want to install another browser, because Safari is still 'hanging'? No need for another browser if you can fix the issue.
