comment Inserting rows from an Excel spreadsheet as paragraphs in a Word document
Very interesting idea. Too bad each question must be specified. Putting everything in one cell definitely makes it easier to manage. Thanks for the suggestion.

@AndiMohr Yes, the query is in my control. If the questions, answers, and comments are all on the same row, is it possible to do the merge?

That bug description looks like my problem exactly. I guess if it's a known bug and it's still open, then at this time, there is no solution. Thanks for the info.

The screenshot looks like it has semi colons between the arguments instead of commas. Try semi colons.

Are you currently focused on the cell with the formula in it? When you press Enter, does the formula evaluate?

I'm leaning toward this being a bug in the way Word 2010 does mail merging. I'm posted the question to the Microsoft Community form as well ( answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-word/… ).

I tried manually changing the <meta name=Table content=CirculationForComment> to include the schema name. <meta name=Table content=Permit.CirculationForComment> does not work because the mail merge code automatically puts double-quotes around the table name.
