I'm no longer a PhD student, but when I was, I was studying image processing and computer visions applied to ionospheric imaging.

I code in MATLAB, python and ruby. I write docs in latex and markdown.

I'm a mac user, and maintain a couple of textmate bundles. One for MATLAB and one for gnuplot.

I use git and svn for version control, and zsh as my shell.
