Program does not initially draw correctly Isn't XPMode essentially a virtual PC? If so, that would seem more disruptive than a screen flash or temporary change to Basic mode or just resizing the problem program's window. |

Program does not initially draw correctly That may work. One problem is that it changes Windows color scheme to Basic, not just for the problem program but for all programs, and that the screen flashes when launching the program. I suppose I could just change to Basic for everything. |

Moving folders to another drive under Win7 using junction @surfasb: there are a bunch of tutorials out there. The problem is that they don't all agree. For example, the method in my OP came from a nice looking technet tutorial. |

Moving folders to another drive under Win7 using junction @surfasb, does one move the folder, as you say (so nothing is left) or move all the files (as Chris says), which would leave the empty folder? |

Moving folders to another drive under Win7 using junction Is there a problem with using this method for the c:\users directory? Do I leave the directory OriginalLocation in place after moving its files and subdirectories, or do I remove it before creating the link? Any better or worse methods of moving the files and subdirs? |
