I normally manage software development in hands on way. Improving the development process gradually while getting the projects out of the door. I prefer in Python and C, C++, but use anything the project at hand specifies.

comment How to use Latest Python 2.7.x “The Right Way” on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?
It only has 2.7.4 for 10.04 not for 12.04

comment Computer only boots after connecting PSU PSON connection to motherboard PWRSW + ground
After a one time connection of A and B and C I connect B and C without A. I used to connect only B and C to have the same result from the start, never ever having to touch A.

I do not just bridge the connection, that is not enough. I have to connect both to the PSON# once. After that bridging the connection is enough (until total power loss) and can be done with the front panel. AFAIK it does not do anything more connecting the two wires.

I think the front panel is working normally, as it works like it used to after I go through the above wire-connect sequence (both on and off).

I am using version 2.32.0.145 of evince, it does auto refresh the files which are generated on my Linux machine but displayed under Windows via a samba share (on a portrait monitor at 1200x1920 pixels).

comment Error Compiling Python 2.7.3 on CentOS5
The reason why 3.3 compiles without problems is that that source was probably never under Subversion and doesn't try to call svnversion at all.

I added the alternative of editing the getbuildinfo.c file, I assume you can edit that if you can compile your own Python
