comment Deny application access to hard drive or volume in Windows 7+
You can try changing the pdf file association to run something like superuser.com/questions/124445 instead of reader.exe directly.

Have you considered running Reader as a separate user which doesn't have access to those volumes?

comment How can I detect the amount of memory slots I have?
It shows a misleading "Row 0" and "Row 2" suggesting there's at least a Row 1 which would lead 4 slots, but I know there are only two.

comment What's the code page of UTF-8?
@Synetech don't worry, the display is wrong, the characters are correct. cd ű is displayed at cd ?, but it still goes into the correct directory.

comment How do I change the color scheme of Windows command prompt?
Never mind: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console\ColorTable00-15 for defaults overall the system, and the subkeys contain overrides for specific applications with their absolute image path (\ replaced with _).

Holy cow, that works :) And the change is immediate after OK/Apply. (Note: again, using ansicon, didn't test with .NET!) The process is: set all colors using the RGB and then re-set text/background to what you want, apply and behold. BTW, you color set looks a bittle one-sided ;)
