Locked out of windows 7 pc The instructions look pretty daunting with having to load drivers from floppy. Simplify them please or maybe they're not needed? |

How long do Lithium Ion batteries normally last? I agree that u should remove your battery if u plan on using laptop as replacement for desktop. I have frequent powercuts so i need the battery in. How do i minimize the damage? |

My home router randomly disconnects me and I'm unable to reconnect to it Even my router had such problems and plugging it in and out solved the problem most of the time. Now it has stopped working. Its less than 2years old. If it is in warranty, get it checked or replaced. Have you considered buying SOHO routers? I heard they're more durable |

Google Chrome starts on system startup but isn't set to anywhere (OS: XP) If you downloaded from their official website, i don't think so. If you have original windows, use Microsoft Security Essentials. It is free and does a good job. |

What determines the accuracy of the current location in the Maps app? It maybe guessing your location based on the where the server of your ISP is located. I am based in Mumbai and my location shows somewhere in the eastern part of the company. The main server of the ISP is based there. |

2 pdfs look same on XP, different on Win7 So you're saying if file 1 says WHITE file 2 says BLACK? Plus it'll be great to post screenshots using printscreen. It's easier than downloading plus your data will be safe =) just upload the image you want use community to see |

How can I remind myself that I've already watched a video? You can create a text file in WATCHED dir containing the youtube links and the associated name of the video. Next time, just check against any new URL against this file. And remember COMPUTERS ARE NOT AN ALTERNATIVE TO GOOD MEMORY. Want a TV SHOW RECOMMENDATION? DECEPTION WITH KEITH BARRY will be good to prove my point |

Can I go back to fresh install of Win7 if I don't like Win8 (after upgrade)? COOLUSERNAME, please consider using ReadyBoost Technology in Windows7 to speed up your computer. It allows you to use a flash drive as an extension to your RAM instead of HDD. All your page files will be written there instead of HDD and reading/writing to flash drives is faster. Read up on google if you want :) Not quite like adding extra RAM but atleast good enough. And cheaper :) |
