comment How do I voice-chat with my friend on PC, sharing my screen and game audio without mixing in their voice?
Steam now has the broadcasts feature which allows any of your friends to both see what you're playing and hear the game's sound while you keep talking via Skype (or a similar app). This requires you and your friend to have Steam accounts.

comment Error while zipping files with unicode characters in names with Win7's “send to > compressed (zipped) folder”
@JvO in fact, it does. The file name is all fubar, but the contents are ok. Files with names without any unicode chars look fine.

comment Firefox keeps asking if I want to open file with a certain program
This is still happening, throughout many new OS installations and Firefox versions (Nightly, Waterfox, Pale Moon, etc). This must be some core feature that works like developers intended it to, even though it makes no sense to ask the user every time.

comment Does it matter about the amount of the swap area in Linux system
Is there some graph with swappiness form 0 to 100 on one axis and something else on the other to demonstrate how… the swappiness depends on the value?

comment Should I disable swap file if I have lots of RAM or should I move it to a virtual RAM drive?
Thanks for compiling this list. It should help bring forward some evidence that theory and practice differ in this matter. Virtual memory − A paging file is an area on the hard disk that Windows uses as if it were RAM. Yeah, as if :p

I guess it only takes to try it out to find out if it works for you or not.

comment Can I turn an internal PCI-E audio card into external cheaply?
@krowe so are you saying if we simulate the interface and power input via usb, the result is going to be far away from just sticking it into a motherboard? Why?

comment Is it possible to disable Firefox top part transparency?
This does nothing for me. Did it do anything for you? Can you post the "before" and "after" screenshots?
