comment How can I make a document print without borders in Microsoft Word 2010?
Hello Paul, You need to put some meat and potatoes of the link in your answer. Link only answers are not very constructive and links can break down the road.

I just had this happen with a Toshiba drive and it was not assigned a letter (I have a bunch of drives including network back up). After assigning a letter, drive was visible and accessible.

Does this happen at just one location (Home?) or many locations (Work and Home)?

@techie007 - I almost always agree with your dupe suggestions, but I think this one is dif. in that assigning keys TO cut and past vs a best cut and past method. Although, I am sure there are many dupe candidates for Autohotkey set ups.

comment Is a 120GB SSD enough for Windows 8 plus essentials?
@brasofilo - I think that the math would speak to the point that with OS and listed applications, there will be only 13% free space. At this point the OP should note that a free 15 GBs is probably not enough.

Just to be sure - you have plugged in power to the video card, correct? The six pin plug.

comment How does Windows tell if a drive plugged into a PC is a hard disk drive, a solid state drive or a flash disk drive?
Wouldn't VID/PID play a role in this? I believe this is how the OS finds the correct drivers for a device and what it is, no? Agree that USB thumb drives have an identified bit that shows the OS that it is removable storage.

If someone suggested that you would have to pull it all apart, would you? You are best to RMA it and enjoy the warrantee realizing that defects happen. ;)

While this link may answer the question, it is better to include the essential parts of the answer here and provide the link for reference. Link-only answers can become invalid if the linked page changes.

comment Windows fails to install when system has more than 4 GB of memory installed
Have you tried installing your original working set, then adding one new stick at a time? So basicly, get your system back up with the original ram. Shut down, pull power plug, drain power from board, get rid of static (ground yourself) install ONE new stick, then power up. If it passes post and bios and goes to windows, do the steps again adding the second new stick.
