comment RAID 6 that can read with least 1000 Mbit/s?
Your numbers are completely inaccurate, I have a perc 6/i and typically perform near 300MB/s, that's 2.3Gbit/s-- easily saturating a single gig link-- that's with a RAID 6

Many switches cap out much lower than advertised spec. Always start with iperf when testing network-related speeds. Higher-end switches will allow for throughput of much closer to their rated speeds, as well total network traffic on the switch will affect speeds. Out of curiousity what switch was this? I've seen procurve and netgear switches doing this often. In addition, to test drive speeds use a program which writes and reads: memory-disk-memory, for an actual drive speed test.

comment Thousands of hidden .xyz files found on desktop of Mac OS X Server 10.7.5, what is this file?
The file information is: data by running file from terminal, it looks like bytes of maybe xml data to shoot in the dark here. Get Info returns: Created on December 31, 1969 7:00PM which is very weird

comment Wireless networking issue, local network access but rarely internet access on just a few machines
So I have a total of 4 windows-based laptops, all different models and brands, that are having issue now. I actually tried one while on a different wireless network and it resulted in the same issues occurring. This leads me to think it's a laptop issue and not my network. All laptops have an Intel adapter.

I updated firmware, still seems to be an issue. I'm going to change security type soon as I can confirm no one will be affected negatively (I've seen mac book pro's balk at wpa2 before). Thanks for the ideas!

comment An Explorer replacement for Windows with dark theme support
I understand both points, I am saying that with uxstyle your theme would affect native explorer and thus you would not need to replace it with an alternative. Either way, thanks for your subsequent post, as I used your reg file and grabbed nexus :) I didn't like any of the themes I found and couldn't find any help on building my own theme
