comment Force OSX text field to accept copy-paste
Works like a charm! I ended up replacing click button 1 of window 1 with keystroke return because it couldn't find the button index.

I'd look into troubleshooting fail2ban. It's really about the perfect solution for what you're trying to do.

What database are you connecting to? From what? Surely there's an easier way to connect to a database than screen scraping.

comment Is there a way to predict the next execution time for a crontab job?
@m4573r is right, you can't "predict" when a cronjob is going to run, because it only runs exactly when you tell it to. You could send the out of the command to a log file by adding > /path/to/logfile to the end of the cronjob.

Weird, I just ran this over Google's sitemap.xml file and didn't see any issues. Which ones did it miss?

comment Are there differences between installing Linux from USB or CD?
You're getting confused on what the tools do. Both dd and UNetbootin extract ISO files to the target disk/USB. That extract delineation is key. As I said in my first comment, if you just copied the ISO file to the USB/CD, the system wouldn't boot. Using dd and UNetbootin will do that extraction of the ISO contents for you. UNetbootin gives you the ability to acquire ISO's you don't already have, set up a persistent USB drive such that data is preserved across reboots, auto-select the USB drive, and other user-friendly features that make it preferable to some users/situations.
