Note to all SO beginner:
Please read (and embrace!) Jon Skeet's helpful hints on how to write a good question (or at least his short version here ) - one that has a chance that someone can answer it.
A Pascal/Delphi programmer and database freak at heart, I work as a C# developer on line-of-business applications (mostly ASP.NET).
I'm interested mostly in distributed systems (WCF), database (design and SQL), and Active Directory.
I'm an MCPD .NET 4 Web Developer, MCPD .NET 4 Windows Developer, MCPD Enterprise Application Developer (.NET 3.5), and MCTS for WCF, ADO.NET, Winforms and ASP.NET.
catch me at mscheuner -at- gmail -dot- com if you need to :-)

What the heck have I done to my Excel sheet (and how to undo it)? Attempt #2 - solved it! The workbook was shared, for some weird reason. Once I've removed the sharing, I was able to uncheck that "Protect Structure and Windows" option and that solved it - thanks so much !! |

What the heck have I done to my Excel sheet (and how to undo it)? Unfortunately, that "workbook protection" link refers to Excel 2003, and in Excel 2007, there's no "Tools" / "Protection" menu :-( |

What the heck have I done to my Excel sheet (and how to undo it)? @CHris Thompson: yes, the MDI window is fixed, in position and size, and I can't seem to get it to resize or move anymore.... |

Downloaded chm is blocked, is there a solution? no, it's still the same with Firefox - download a CHM with it and it's also tagged an "unsafe" and won't display until you manually unblock it... |

What's the Minimum System Spec Recommended For Developer Laptop PLus I'd strongly recommend a 7200rpm harddisk - makes a huge difference over 5400 or 4500rpm disks! |

Archive Outlook mail items into SQL Server Thanks for sharing - I'm still hoping to find a full-fledged solution. I'm amazed there doesn't seem to be anything out there - I would imagine a lot of people are faced with similar situations. |

SQL Server 2005, Huge LDF file @Scott: you can restore back to that *.bak file you have - no problem. You just won't be able to recover anything that happen since then (that would be in the transaction logs that you purge away) |
