Installing Avira Antivirus on Windows 8 I would not bother installing another anti-virus on Windows 8, it is already included in the OS. |

Windows 7 menu and label are black @KCotreau, true for memory flush on reboot, but with that much ram, and nothing running except Chrome, I'm not really near out memory, in fact even with a VM and a game running I didn't manage to fill it. |

Windows 7 menu and label are black @KCotreau, It seems to be more a fail of Windows than hardware, since on reboot everything is fine. |

Using iTunes in Windows VM under Linux I just read an ubuntu forum, in French and they are telling that everything in iTunes is working perfectly in a VM. And found that in english : brighthub.com/hubfolio/matthew-casperson/articles/77025.aspx |

Using iTunes in Windows VM under Linux Can't tell about that, I don't have any Apple device. But usually a VM is the same thing as a real computer, except a bit slower. USB and Network will work like a computer on a network. |

Patch is preventing the system from starting, need to manually uninstall Windows 7 update @Michael, try booting with a Linux Live CD like Ubuntu, and do your backup with. |
