comment Test wireless speed?
Even if people say it's a bad test - it's surprisingly pretty accurate. Obviously you wouldn't use such a test in a PhD thesis, but for testing home/small business it works. Motorola AP vs E1000 running DD-WRT shows a huge difference.

VurusTotal says it's clean: virustotal.com/en/file/… also the file was digitally signed. I would say it's legit.

comment How to activate the inactive RAM in a server?
@Ramhound If the OP was using Windows XP 32bit - then XP will refuse to use anything above ~4GB of RAM - regardless of how much physical RAM they have. PAE, for Windows 32bit, is only licensed for the server editions.

Sounds like hardware failure if BIOS doesn't report 8GB. Have you tried fully powering it down?

comment How to fix scroll in LOGITECH MX518 mouse?
I also uninstalled the SetPoint software and this solved the scrolling issue for me. The issue for me seems to be related to running VMs in Virtualbox/VMWare. Perhaps one driver doesn't like the other?

I think a picture may help this question.
