comment How to upgrade to g++ 4.7 in SUSE linux
Is this a company or university system you're on? Because if it's your own, I'm wondering why you're running a four year old distribution on there.

comment Windows 7 says a 8.6 GB file won't fit in 14.7 GB space?
It's still not a good error message as many users will not know the difference between the notions of partition, volume, file system, ... It's technically correct, but it pretty much only makes sense to those who know the FAT32 size limit anyways.

comment Is it a bad idea to get my production servers software source code from github
"In my mind it means I have the most up to date code each time including the latest bug fixes." <- But you also have the latest bugs that way.

comment Pinging to a Linux machine to check if it's online
Perform what tasks? You can do a portscan to get an idea of which network-facing services are running on the machine.

comment Brother MFC-7360N has misaligned prints
You say the paper size settings are correct, but have you checked the page margin settings (both in your applications, and possibly at driver level as well, if you can set them there)? (Also, this quesion might fit better on superuser, I'm flagging it for moving.)

comment Need advice on Encrypting whole Hard Disk
@Robert Ah, you were thinking of safety in terms of loss of data rather than interception. Well, I'd agree with you on this (although I really hope that Dan has a backup of his data), but depending on your internet connections, sending 500GB via VPN may not be an option.

comment Run 16 bit program on 64 machine bit without dosbox
Updated my answer, your problem is most likely related to wrong paths or a wrong config. I have a working solution with ProcessBuilder for you below.

comment Run 16 bit program on 64 machine bit without dosbox
Well, nowhere on all of that can I see a reference to the exe file you want to run. How is dosbox supposed to know what you want to run? That should go in your autoexec, not just the mounting. Besides, I think there's something wrong about the way you're using the config, but I'll check...

@BradenSteffaniak Update your question, show the [autoexec] section of your dosbox config, the code that creates the creation ProcessBuilder and a screenshot of what the DOSBox looks like when it's started by the the ProcessBuilder.

@BradenSteffaniak Can you not simply call DOSBox through the ProcessBuilder and let the automatic start of your program through DOSBox's autoexec.bat as described here: dosbox.com/wiki/AUTOEXEC ?
