@vnodkumar1987 Only if this is not running in a domain with roaming profiles. Could very well be the case here. Btw. This one is super old...

comment How do I run the Windows 7 Explorer shell with Administrator Privileges by default?
This is not the same G-Man. If you Shift-Right click you get a new window, but this window runs under the same task (process).

If this only happens to one user - did you consider to recreate his windows profile? I know it seems like a lot of work but it's often the fastest way to solve the problem.

comment PC is not detected in network
1. Could you please try to add a share on the pc123, access it and give us feedback if that works? (Instead of connecting to the \\pc123 root) 2. On the network adapters settings, please try to remove the 'windows file and printer sharing' protocoll and readd it. 3. Please elaborate on what you did with "I tried to disable firewall and antivirus" as in my experience 99% things like this happen, it's caused by a firewall. What product do you use? Have you tried uninstalling it just to be 100% sure?

comment Running RSAT Tools as another user using Powershell
The tool is mmc.exe and the console i am trying to open is either the active directory or the gpo console. (dsa.msc / gpmc.msc). Also just to mention, i can run the program with shift-righclick and then enter my domain-admins credentials without problems but i would like to have a powershell script with a menu for other admin-users where they can choose the console they need and get prompted for credentials.

Thank you nohwnd for your answer! I actually already tried the first part in the meanwhile but it didn't work. I will have a look at the second part of your answer and get back to it!

Hey thanks for selecting my wrong answer as right ;) Jokes aside: There is a way to disable this. It's done by GPO. You can find the Setting by opening the local group policy editor (start - run - gpedit.msc) and then find the policy under: Computer - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Credential User Interface - Do not display the password reveal button. I edited my answer.
