comment Disable “Foxit Reader PDF” tab in Microsoft Office
@mdpc That's quite possible. I have Foxit Reader installed on both my computers and one of them have that tab installed, while another one does not have it. Foxit Company provides no details, neither about when Foxit PDF tabs are added to Office, nor how to get rid of them.

comment Is there any way to get rid of Foxit Cloud permanently when updating Foxit Reader?
@DavidPostill Foxit Cloud, about which I'm asking in this question, has nothing to do with Office. Foxit Reader itself, about which I'm asking in my another question has actually quite a lot to do with Office. It installs pesky, annoying additional tab to Office ribbon. I'm asking (in that another question) how to get rid of it. And here, I'm asking how to get rid permanently of Foxit Cloud, another idiotic Foxit thing, I have to deal with, after each Foxit Reader update. mdpc probably mixed these two questions.

@mdpc DavidPostill is of course right. Foxit Cloud has nothing to do with Office and very little with Foxit Reader itself. Maybe you mistaken this with my another question, to which you've also left a comment?

@BBlake You're right. VBA is required to achieve this. See my answer for details on how to do this.

comment Where is PowerPoint's equivalent of Word's normal.dotm?
@DavidPostill I'm pretty sure, that this folder holds only standard templates, which you can access by hiting File > New in each Office program. I'm asking for a default template, which 99.99% is stored in %APPDATA% I have default Word's normal.dot template in %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Templates. I don't know, where PowerPoint stores its own default template and that's the reason, why I asked this question.

comment Windows 7 constantly loses and regains Internet connection
@happy_soil This case has nothing to do with TeamViewer. I had that computer previously connected to a regular monitor and keyboard and I could observe, that it actually constantly looses and regains internet connection, even when TeamViewer was not yet installed there.

Yes... and this webpage is already mentioned here, in an answer older 1,5 year than yours.

comment Limit BitTorrent client onboard QNAP TS-210 to download only
So... setting Global maximum upload rate to 0 / very low value should do the trick, right? If Share Ratio is wrong. There are no settings related to speed, seed or share, other than I just mentioned, in my BitTorrent client.

comment Windows Install Compability Advisor Inventory Tool issue
Welcome to Super User and thanks. I gave you voteup (+10 points), but I didn't acceppt your answer (another +25 points), because you only tell, what is this service / file, but you don't say anything how to get rid of that message after each system start. So, you don't directly answer my question. If you, however, edit your answer and add details on removing repeated message during each Windows start, I'll be more than happy to accept your answer.

Thanks for an advice. Yeap, that Windows isn't English. It is Polish. Could Polish translation team made such ugly translation mistake (my fellow collegue claims, that this is a Windows service, and disabling it will cease problems).

comment Windows deleted a folder without asking or confirmation
Since this isn't actually a problem for me (media player can work without this folder and will always recreate it, if it is missing), so lets just assume, that my question was purely to feed my curiosity and lets just pass it now. I don't want to make this into a chat or forum discussion. Eventually, problem looks limited only to my case. Thanks for all your efforts.

Just to provide more detail -- this is a repeatable situation. The .Theater folder gets removed by my Windows 7 everytime I connect external drive to computer and refuse to scan the "damaged" disk. I'm not sure if this wasn't happening in the past or if I simply didn't noticed this fact?

I'm picking your answer, as the one containing many useful tips for a quite wide area of problem, such as my question is (after all). I assume, that the answer to my (maybe not directly expressed) question: "Can Windows delete user file without confirmation?" is: "No!" in your opinion. Am I right?

@EliadTech I hope I was better in explaining this! :> 1. This happened for me only once so far. 2. Yes, Media Player = Linux-based external device. 3. = 1. I have never experienced anything like that before. 4. Nothing, that I'm aware of (neither software nor hardware) has changed.

I can has (contain) anything it or I want. That is not a point. Window can't delete any user file, without asking me for a permission to do so. That's a point.

comment How to always run as administrator applications on Windows 8
This is an accepted answer, howerver it shows how to always run as admin a particular program. When I read OP's question title, I was pretty sure, that I'll find here a solution, how to run all programs in Windows 8, always as admin. Strange...
