I'm just an average person, that uniquely combines strict, engineering mind with a non-schematic, humanistic and magical way of looking on life and surrounding world.

Add a little bit of madness, and you'll get entire picture of me! :]

I'm a developer, both desktop and mobile, with 15+ years of experience and 50+ small-to-big projects on account. In the very same time I'm a writer with similar experience and a lot of books, articles, blog posts or own blogs ideas on account.

comment Prevent Chrome from opening anchor links in the same tab, when clicked with middle mouse button
If this problem is really reported five years ago and haven't been fixed ever since, then I'm not surprised at all, that people are tired with dev team ignorance are helping themselves other ways. Thanks for a great answer and a point to an extension that does seems to do its job perfectly!

@heavyd: I'm using newest version of Chrome (33.0.1750.154). Are you able to use any other, if Chrome never takes care of asking you, whether you want to update, only updates itself? No, I haven't use --disable-extensions, because... I don't have any extensions installed! :] BTW: Where, in SuperUser, you see an "anchored" links, that is the one, that points to the same page? I must be missing something, but I haven't seen much of them here.

comment Dead-simple FTP server for Windows?
You made your quesion (and answer in one) nearly completely unreadable due to much more edits than basic, not-edited text. Consider removing previous edits and leave only "winner" section.

Thanks for your contribution. Unfortunately, point 4 is the smallest pain in my everyday usage of Chrome and I was hoping to get some explanations on points 1-3.

comment Active window (program) unexpectedly looses focus in Windows 7
It is very hard to "catch" described problem, because it does not happens too often. For example -- no trace for past two days. So I would have to work days in Safe Mode to try to "catch" this. But, thanks for the idea. Also, see my answer below.

comment How to detect a background program (in Windows 7) which steals active focus automatically?
@SachinShekhar Thanks! Seems, that it does not ships with Windows, but must be downloaded as part of Windows Sysinternals library. Let me re-edit your answer, to include this.

How did you "spotted exiting process from Process Explorer"? I'm fighting the same problem and I was more than sure, that when you press Alt+F4, program is terminated immediately, so you have no chances to open (or even switch to) Task Manager to see, what has just "left" it.

comment Spaces in the beginning of lines in Notepad++
You're partially right. It seems, that some languages has this "feature" and other doesn't. I can observe this in CSS, Markdown, Javascript, Pascal, Resource, Shell and SQL at my side. So it isn't that rare. But, as I wrote in comment to Ryan, Line Wrap setting in Settings > Preferences > Editing has nothing to do with this. I've switched it to Default and mentioned languages still displays spaces in the beginning. Do you know, which setting is responsible for that, and where to look for it?

Sorry, I was to fast to call-up glorious solution. Neither Line Wrap nor Folder Margin Style are responsible for this behavior.

comment Mysterious Windows 7 Autorun Location
@all: Guys! Can someone enlighten me, how my question is a duplicate, if I'm asking about Windows 7 and the other one is about Windows Server 2012? Just because an answer to two question is the same, it doesn't mean, the questions are duplicate, right? As you can see in answer and comment, Windows has many autorun locations and I don't believe that all of them are the same on two as different systems as Windows 7 and Windows Server 2012! Hold your horses with marking questions as duplicate, because it becomes boring!

Would downvoter have enough courage to express in comment, what he or she doesn't like in this question? No... I don't think so...

Yes! Since my Acer was delivered to me without any installation CD, recovery partition etc. (long story, part of educational program), upon Windows reinstallation I've downloaded all the drivers from Acer site and use that website as the only source of my drivers.

Downvoted question, because Joseph Wong hasn't even showed up to see that answer (not mentioning selecting it) and Tyler did a really good job with this reply.

Glad, I could help! No, you're not silly, I recall that I also had some strange problems locating this command, before adding it into Ribbon. All thanks to M$ and their idiotic scheme of naming some things (they just love to complicate fairly easy things!)...

Read my answer. Do you really need a macro to solve such obvious and simple problem? :]

comment TCP packets not captured by PHP listener
Well, here is a pastebin for everything, tcpdump receives usually from this localizer. I was pretty sure, that the fact, that it sends garbage is the reason, why PHP listener is unable to capture this traffic. No, I'm using very limited Linux (NAS, not full server) and I don't have / can't install nc. And no - as far as I know, there is no docs, API or guide for developers / power users of this localizer (cheap China TK102). Only some basics for newbies, how to configure it.

The code is pretty long, and since it is nearly exactly the same as on PHP.net Sockets Example Page, I though, it will be better to forward you there. That's what I wrote in my previous comment. If you want to see the code, I'm using for my listener, please, follow to PHP.net Sockets Example Page and scroll down to user contributed notes (bottom of page, javier's example). Thanks!
