How do I download SQL Server 2012 Express? Thanks for that second link. It's not obvious by any means, but all the different editions are available there (if you can figure out what the heck the file names mean). While searching around for the Tools Only version not knowing it was there the whole time, I ran across the service pack, too: microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35575 |

How do I download SQL Server 2012 Express? @Ramhound Odd with a capital O. Hm. Took another look. It looks like the download buttons themselves point to those "betaexperience" URLs when I hover over them. |

How do I download SQL Server 2012 Express? @Ramhound I'm not a security expert, but I do know a bit about man in the middle attacks. Since it's not over SSL/TLS, something could be feeding me their own data; no? It's just... weird. I've never run into a download manager for anything from MS before. |

How do I download SQL Server 2012 Express? Well, thanks. I don't know why I was getting directed to a page about a Server 2012 download. |

How do I download SQL Server 2012 Express? ...It opens a Java download manager, on a Microsoft website? Not that it's impossible. It just seems... unlikely. |

What paths are guaranteed to exist on Windows Server 2008 R2? Useful, but unfortunately, this is going in a document, not code. (Hence why I asked on Super User instead of StackOverflow.) Thanks, though. Hm. Some documentation says that method is unsupported and to use ShGetFolderPath instead. Does that work just as well? |

What paths are guaranteed to exist on Windows Server 2008 R2? Thank you. I will probably use HOMEPATH since the directory is intended for a user to place files in. |

What paths are guaranteed to exist on Windows Server 2008 R2? If someone would post that below and name one or two of them, I will accept it as the answer. |

What paths are guaranteed to exist on Windows Server 2008 R2? Fair enough, but are they guaranteed to represent existing locations? |
