Thank you for the suggestion. The reason you got the SSL certificate errors was because your system's date and time were severely out of date. I am not getting this issue because my system keeps up with the time fine but I find it being early by a few minutes sometimes and I'd like it to be synched with the internet.

I did this but the monitor is not getting a signal and while in windows it doesn't detect it in the display settings. I think you are correct and that's the way my dual monitors were set up previously but for some reason now it doesn't work anymore

I'm not sure what you mean by suffle the cables around. do you mind explaining? I did try switching around the monitors if that's what you mean but it didn't change anything.

I found a solution for this in the end but it was a few weeks ago so unfortunately I do not remember what were the steps I took. but there's certainly a solution because it worked perfectly ever since. I believe in the end it had something to do with setting the permissions on either the C or D drive. I wish I could offer some more information.
