comment Why do I lose my 3G connection when I connect to my new wireless access point?
Yes, it seems. You need either to use fixed ip configuration (not use dhcp) at your notebook for wifi adapter and should not set any gateway on it or, alternatively, you should set up the DHCP service at your AP in a way that it does not configure the clients to use it as a default gateway. Check the page 37 of tp-link.com/resources/document/TL-WA830RE_V2_User_Guide.pdf : the Default Gateway field must be empty.

Check that your wifi interface does not bring up the default route over it (see the output of route print command on windows or just route on linux).

the -N is enough to not start a remote shell. if you wish to put ssh into background then, yes, add the -n switch

Just checked with its man page - there is no such option.

As I mentioned, it is implementation dependent. The Transmission client writes each segment into its exact location in the file(s). I suppose this is done to simplify the tracking of the stuff and to avoid later reordering of segments. Also, it simplifies the restart of the transmission when you stop the client and start it again later (for example, you switched off your PC as it is to noisy to let you sleep :)

I can't check now unfortunately (actually I would say fortunately) as I have no windows around me.

I do not see a delete permission in the screenshot you posted. it is probably a folders permission you are talking about, right?

No, this is operation on folder as a write occurs not to a file but to the folder.
