comment Why does NTFS compression take up a lot of space?
@AndreKR, any idea why this is not happening on the Truecrypt volume? Also, have you found any way to release the disk space (without rebooting)?

comment Rule that matches all incoming mail on Outlook.com
@Wutnaut I actually have 0 rules. I think I tried too many, and the error is refering to that. But anyway, hampidampi solution would require atleast 2 forwarding rules to work. Will try again later.

Nice suggestion, but it doesn't seem to work for mail forwarding: You've reached the limit for forwarding rules. To add a new forwarding rule, delete an existing one.

comment Computer goes to sleep, then powers up
@Ramhound Nice point about remote client. Oddly, powercfg remains giving the same output and the PC is not going into standby. Probably the recently has also something to do about it. How long recently is remains a mistery. What makes it even more strange is the fact that powercfg -requestsoverride DRIVER \FileSystem\srvnet system has allready been executed a few months ago.

This is a nice find, but I wonder how "safe" this is? What are the dependencies?

comment How to use BCDEdit to dual boot Windows installations?
About Windows Boot Manager: Windows Boot Manager is basically a mini-operating system that controls your boot experience and enables you to choose which boot application to run. There are various boot applications (for example, Windows Boot Loader) and each one does something different. For example, a Windows Boot Loader application loads Windows. [...] For example, if you have two different versions of Win7 installed on different partitions, you will see two Windows Boot Loader entries. (taken from here)
