comment pointer has life of its own (MacBook Pro)
I've done it, but I won't be able to know if it works till it either happens or not... on a side note, I don't use a Magic Mouse, or Magic Trackpad. The only thing I can think of it the wired USB mouse, but I normally don't use one on this laptop.

Not always, it seems to be random. The last time I was able to stop it, I had to literally power off the laptop.

comment Make your Screensaver as a Wallpaper in Windows 7?
OS X is relevant because I wanted to have an example of how I want it to work on Windows. I have an animated background but it's not really a background, it's the app running over the desktop. I actually can't see the desktop icons at all, unless I hide the app.. BTW, good to see you again too :)

comment Locking down firmware to keep stolen laptop from being formatted?
Obviously about the password if it's known, but I'm talking about the chance of someone who just steals it and knows you from the hole in the wall. This though is what I was expecting, but I just needed verification.

comment When using PHP: math and binary numbers
Well I am learning C++ but I am looking for a web interface while on the road and a program for when you are in front of the computer, so for web based languages this is what I am trying to figure out if doing binary instead of what we read would be better or not.

Like what kind of language? I figured PHP and XHTML were pretty efficient, unless you are talking about HTML5 that is...

Yes, sorry I tend to use a lot of verbiage.

There is more than one way to bypass this type of concept, I agree, but what you are looking at talking about is someone above the basic user anyway.
