comment What is a mouse-only way to minimize all the windows except the active one?
@KharoBangdo Make sure you tell them what's on your screen because I can imagine that it looks suspiciously like a, hrmp... certain sexual activity, when you shake jerkily with your hand making disappointing sounds. (Anyway - make sure you've got at least Win7 and the Aero Shake activated, I guess.) Happy shaking!

@sapi True, it's not very useful. Maybe except when in a meeting when you want to entertain while staling for time and you tell the audience you'll shake down your screen. Cool doesn't need to be useful, hehe. You're right.

@Ramhound Being a serious site doesn't exclude the possibility for humoristic contribution as long as it contributes to the content, which, as you can see on the other repliers' comments, I mine did. Sorry you misinterpreted but, frankly, this pathetic way to request +1 (if id' me intended) should make you raise an eyebrow and beg to think again if you've got it right. Have faith in people. :)

@Windos I'm a keyboard shortcut prone too. However, this was a cool nice thingy - I've never heard about this shaky feature before. Pressing WIn+Home isn't nearly as cool. However, it's far more efficient and pro-like. :)

@magicandre1981 Huh? I've never seen that checkbox... Good feature, though. Using SE for three years - still learning new stuff. Thanks for the hint!

@Ramhound You missed the sarcasm. It was meant as a joke. :)

Hey, how come you get +1 and not me?! I want some too! Seriously though - it's a obscure but very cool feature.

comment How to raise/lower sound and brightness using keyboard only?
None of the combination seems to affect contrast, brightness nor sound. Please note that the question includes the sound volume as well. The only keys with bright/dark symbol are F1 and F2 and pressing those doesn't affect anything, neither...

comment Recommended way to create a bootable USB including the software used
@Ƭᴇcʜιᴇ007 Perhaps I explain it in a wrong way. I wish to have an image and I also wish it to be bootable. I've seen guides on both but not at the same time. Is it at all possible? I'd like to be able to boot up a computer with an empty HDD, stick the USB into it and make the process automatically set up everyth8ing for me. The restore process you're talking about requires that Windows already is installed and working on the machine, correct? I'd like my method to work even if the computer's got the partitions removed.

I might be slow on my brains, because I'm not getting a certain part of the process. It's the step #3 - make image - that I don't see. How does one "make image" of the system? I've done that when playing with virtual machines - that's easily understandable. But when I'm on my system and it's the physical computer - how exactly do I create an image and make it a bootable USB? Talk to me like if I'm five years old.
