comment OSX window positions after unplugging & replugging external monitors
@Tetsujin Oh man, I'm an idiot. All it took was putting it to sleep before disconnecting, and reconnecting before waking. Everything's right where I left it.

comment .tmux.conf: How can I conditionally set a color variable?
The single quotes are just to contain each argument (command) to if. Regardless, I tried it as you suggested and it still doesn't work. I appreciate the suggestion though.

comment Why do people source bash_profile from bashrc instead of the other way round?
That's interesting. I've certainly got the impression that most people implement it the other way (bashrc sourcing bash_profile), but my experience is limited.

Not only did this answer my question, but it inspired me to redesign the function. Thanks!

comment Vim: Is there a downside to using <Space> as your <Leader> key?
I tried it again, and it seems to work if I start a new Vim session. I tried to isolate it but couldn't figure out what was interfering. Anyway, it works now. Thanks!

comment Vim: Is there a downside to using <Space> as your <Leader> key?
It's not working for me. The mapping works, but showcmd doesn't show ` when I hit <Space>`. Am I missing something?

comment Why is Vim adding asterisks to my .css file?
As a beginner, I think I'll just backspace over it for now. This is good to know, for future reference though.

comment Find: exclude external hard drive from search
I had to do a little digging (version of find on my computer uses -x instead of -mount), but this worked. Excellent! Thank you!

comment Suspicious .nyiyeverc file in my home directory
@Josh Good idea. I did move it, but didn't think to rename it. And checking my home folder now, it hasn't reappeared (yet). Thanks :)

@LauriRanta - i got "sudo: opensnoop: command not found" :P I guess I don't have opensnoop on my machine. Sounds like it came with 10.5. Is there a way I could install it?
