comment How do I change the format of the table of figures in MS Word?
@Mike Graham, you do not have to type but press TAB key in each entry. I know this is not efficient for long tables, but I could not have word do this automatically, even though I setup tab stops when customizing Table of Figures. I put the tut doc on my site with the following address, I hope it helps to any one with this kind of problem. muratarpat.com/word/tof_tut.docx

OK, I will prepare a doc with screenshots, and when it is ready I'll put it on my site. One thing I should mention is that the result in figure above involves a little manual input which should be done after the table of figures is finalized, as I could not do everything automatically.

Can you figure out how it is done with a sample word document, or do you prefer a tutorial doc with screenshots?

@ Mike Graham - which one looks great, first or second list? (there is a slight difference in formatting the leading dots)

comment How to start VirtualBox using commandline?
I've just tried, and you are right. If VM was in a saved state TIMEOUT line in the batch file is not necessary. And, the reason I did not use SLEEP command is that I did not want the person who will use this batch file bother with keypress.

@ Shevek - I got it worked with your regedit solution, only after adding TIMEOUT line again. I do not know why but guest OS desktop should be loaded otherwise the line after TIMEOUT line does not work, and value added with TIMEOUT is also important. For example, TIMEOUT 10 does not work while TIMEOUT 15 and above works. Thanks for the answer.

@@Shevek, thanks for the quick response. Actually I've added winword.exe to the startup group in VM and works fine. However, I was trying to do this using a batch file so that I can create batch files for any program I want. I've edited my first post and included the batch file I'm trying to make it work.
