comment Google Chrome is adding a slash to my searches
@Cory I reported it as an issue to Chrome asking them to make an exception if this is indeed a new feature. Perhaps you should too. Under the chrome menu -> Help -> Report Issue

I have this same issue, does this come from a recent chrome update? I'm sure I did not used to experience this. It's extremely irritating

@PeterMunnings Would you mind writing up the full procedure you used to get it working with a simple query as an answer please?

@PeterMunnings I couldn't find any other way besides using VBA. Although in the end we stuck with a button rather than a cell change trigger to make it more obvious that there is VBA behind it

But how do I make this the default behaviour? If I do this, then I can zoom with the mouse wheel (holding control) and it stays centered, but if I click on that zoomy bar in the bottom right then it reverts back to the left.

So click on cell A1, press F4, and then drag it down and across.

Is this a single array formula? Is it a formula that has been auto-filled (dragged down)? Or are these completely independent formulae?

comment Excel Multiplication
@MatthewS. you should use multiple columns as J_D says. For example keep your original values in ColA, your multipliers in ColB (so can easily be unique for each row) and then in ColC it's just =A1*B1. Then you can just find the average of ColC
