My Outlook is connected to an Exchange Server, so I have no idea if this is IMAP or POP3 or anything else. It has been done by sysadmins.

Replacing "letters" to "emails". I have no idea about the size of my PST file. Anyway, I inclined to believe that the size has nothing to do with this issue, because it does not persist, it rather occurs sometimes. It appears quite rarely, but it is annoying anyway.

Nevertheless I must note that this command line shows server changes, but does not show local changes, unlike the svn command I was searching the analog for.
