comment What is the easiest way to stop and start services on a remote and virtual Windows 7 machine?
Please clarify that you only have local admin accounts, since the easiest way for a domain admin is grawity's solution, not yours. ;-)

@Alex: Try starting with sc.exe \\172.16.4.154 query to get a list of services. find the right one and copy the SERVICE_NAME not the DISPLAY_NAME. Make sure your PS runs as admin, i get a different error for misspelled service names: "... FEHLER 1060: Der angegebene Dienst ist kein installierter Dienst."

comment Getting “How do you want to run this type of file (.html)” when trying to install AVG antivirus
It might have asked the question because of the "strange" origin for an .html file. Not entirely sure though.

comment Common values in three columns of data in Google Spreadsheets
Okay, maybe add that requirement to your question because the task is so asking to be scripted that i am tempted to suggest CSV export+PowerShell or your OS's equivalent. ;-) But you want it in your spreadsheet for future use, correct? This is the right place for such questions btw. and a good one on top.

I suppose you are able to take the data over to Excel for processing, it might be a lot easier to do in a VBA script. You could have that loop through all three columns and print out the entries it finds in the other two.

comment Computer reacts toward a normal DVD as a bootable DVD
Most likely there is an additional F-Key you can press to get a one-time boot device selection menu. That is more convenient for the usually rare occasion of OS installations. Could be F11 or F12 for example.

comment Is there a way to save and replay a sequence of shortcut key on Windows?
With these approaches take a minute to think about what might happen when something hiccups and a hotkey goes to the wrong program/window instead.

autorun.exe sounds like a CD/DVD. Can you either clarify where you are getting this file from or simply try downloading a fresh copy from the manufacturer of the software. Those shiny plastic discs are "outdated" right after they have cooled down coming off the press, especially for antivirus software and drivers you might want to avoid that. ;-) Also especially in IT something rarely is "the only way" to accomplish something.

Writing in All Caps is a very bad idea, you might want to fix that if you want an answer. It is considered "shouting" and reduces legibility.

comment How to batch print files in Notepad++?
Okay, once the files are associated with Notepad++ the option is gone. I checked for .txt files that were still associated with regular Notepad, then you have a right click print option. It also works for PDFs and such, so the option comes fromt he program, you are correct.

comment Why does Windows always use as much Virtual Memory as there is RAM installed?
I think you need to describe your scenario in more Detail. Yes, 7zip can need large amounts of RAM (around 10GiB for LZMA@1024MB Dict. size) when you push the Dictionary size to the max. I could imagine that if you use the 32bit version of 7zip, that would be an issue. That issue however is not related to the amounts of RAM you have installed but rather the amounts a 32bit Program is able to use. So i recommend you describe the precise scenario you are having the problem in. As for your question: It has always (win3.11?) been that way, which might not be exactly clever for today's world.
