comment How can a Nautilus script be run for an empty directory?
Welp, looks like GNOME did away with yet another useful feature in Nautilus. You might be able to assign a shortkey to your script, though. Check out the corresponding section in this answer ('Assigning a keyboard shortcut to the script').

Doesn't the "Scripts" context menu sub-entry appear when clicking on an empty area of the window? At least it does on Nautilus 3.4.x.

comment LibreOffice has ugly PNG import
What happens when you export the odt to pdf? Does the image look pixelated as well? Do you have anti-aliasing for graphics enabled in your LO settings?

comment Is there a way for a file in sublimetext 2 to have a label other than the name of the file?
ST3 will automatically do this for you by displaying the file path in the tab label for files of the same name.

I don't have a solution, but if you don't manage to get an answer despite the bounty you put up you could try asking at unix.SE, a more Unix/Linux-centered Stackexchange site.

comment Merge pdf and remove pages in one pass
@Dan Glad to hear that! No, I don't think there's a setting for that. You can replace the bookmarks with one entry for each document (-b one_entry_each_doc) but that's it. I think this would be a great feature, though. If you've got the time, I'd suggest creating a feature request on sejda's bug tracker‌. The dev team seems to be pretty active and I think you'd have a good chance at getting this implemented. If you create a feature request please do post it here. I'd be happy to voice some support on the bug tracker.

3 years later and this is still an issue on Linux. @crazy2be or user76871, I don't suppose you have found a solution in the meantime?
