Thanks, and yes, it's an answer to a question I had that I couldn't append to an answer list elsewhere: superuser.com/questions/677525/…

Oh my god. I was just responding 'yes, the other PC is where I got the settings from and that's using it' but I like to double check things and BOOM! It's not using TLS. I know how that happened, but it's convoluted and you know how the story ends ;-) Thank you so much. I knew StackOverflow wouldn't let me down. Would you like to answer, so I can give you credit?

comment How to Tell Which Devices are in a PCI Slot
Thanks, good tip! In my case I could see that the monitors were plugged into one of my two GPUs, so it was easy to identify which one was which and disable as required.

comment My webcam just came on “out of the blue”
Very helpful. I found it was my IE8/XP virtual machine (MS's own OVA file downloaded from Modern.ie) that was using the usb camera. VirtualBox allows USB pass-through and while the VM was running, it was turning the camera on. The handle to look for in this case is 'vboxusbwebcam'.

comment How do I stop Adobe Bridge CS6 consuming so much memory?
@SSTR Adobe Bridge basically opens all your image/video files and creates a thumbnail of them, which is stored as another (smaller) image in a central cache folder (unless a project-local folder is specified). I've tried purging this cache and moving from central to local cache stores -all on my PC, but having one cache-per folder vs. one centralised cache.
