comment Dropbox options for avoiding file conflicts and locking issues
Dropbox folder protection seems only to be to automatically stop dropbox if the dropbox folder goes away; it's still using dropbox to do the actual syncing, so it'll be as active as usual.

The site's FAQ, at nionsoftware.com/dbpahk/faq, says that sync and go should only be run after you have finished your work. Can you confirm that it actually waits for user file activity to finish, as you seem to be saying?

comment How to mass remove symbolic links in Windows (amongs regular files that share similar name in many folders)?
The TCC/LE version doesn't seem to work with junctions, because /s descends into junctions, rather than considering them to delete. /nj will stop that, but doesn't seem to solve the problem. The following seems to work, even though del claims to have deleted nothing: del /a:l /s /e /l * As a useful helper, this will list all such files: dir /a:l /s /nj /k /m so you can see if it worked. -Robin
