About

I started programming in 2002 on the TI-82, a graphic calculator with BASIC capabilities. After successfully achieving a snake, a tetris-like game and a 2D adventure game, I realized how much fun I could have with this.

On my way towards a Master of Science in mechanical engineering, I tried to keep in touch with the development world, through two 6-months long internships (2008 and 2009). I then discovered that supply chain management could be fun, too. I chose it as my specialization in the last year and spent time optimizing various industry components (e.g. the throughput of a factory), like I read in the fantastic 'The Goal' (by Dr. Goldratt).

After my M.Sc., I decided to achieve a Bachelor of Arts in german Linguistics and Literature that I started in parallel to my Engineering School in Paris, landing in Bonn, Germany, for a year and a half. It broadened my knowledge of the german culture and gave me a good opportunity to hone my german skills towards bilingualism.

Since then, I have been happily developping and testing JEE applications, as well in small groups (3 - 5 developers, startup spirit) as in huge teams (150+ developers, corporate spirit).

I'm passionate about finding the best management solutions to get things done. I've been reading frantically every article from joelonsoftware.com since 2008 and basically everything I could find on innovative management like the agile movement, be it written by its defenders or its detractors.
