Automatically connect to VPN when initiating RDP Remote Desktop connection and then disconnect VPN when done Ok thanks - the disconnection was the key part. So I'll look at routing only RDP traffic through the VPN in case they leave it connected. Apparently if I uncheck ‘use default gateway on remote network’ under TCP/IP settings for the VPN, that should do it. |

Tool for Search in Outlook Unfortunately not sure that it will work with latest versions of Windows 7 and Outlook 2010 anymore...seems to crash when indexing. |

Extremely slow network directory subfolder listing from QNAP NAS in OS X This happens when also browsing to an SMB share on a Windows 2003 server - so it's likely an OS X or Finder issue. Seems that Finder is trying to cache the folders before displaying them, while Windows displays them immediately. |

Can there be more than one email provider per domain? It's often called Split Domain Routing, which some providers such as Rackspace support: rackspace.com/apps/support/portal/1222 - but as indicated above, you do have to be careful because it can get messy with SPF records and messages getting flagged for spam |
